Not all of my clients are interested in meditation. Those who are, select from a variety of modified meditation techniques including Mindfulness, Mindful Self-Compassion, traditional guided imagery and Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a type of meditative practice that brings you to a deep state of relaxation or dreamless sleep that paradoxically often leaves you energized and reinvigorated at the end of practice. My clients love it! When asked, I design a Yoga Nidra specifically for my clients. They sometimes help construct hypnotic suggestions that I imbed into the meditation to enhance what they are working on.
